| Description | The New York City Riding Academy has been in continual operation for more than 25 years. The Academy teaches both Western and English horseback riding styles to individuals and groups. The Academy's students are classified as beginners, intermediate, advanced or competitive and assigned an appropriate instructor when they enroll. Upon successful completion of their basic riding courses, students can proceed to the advanced classes such as dressage, jumping and cross country training. The Academy's basic horseback riding curriculum includes equine lectures, horseback riding lessons, horseback riding demonstrations, grooming, tacking, lunging, barn management, feeding, and special programs. The Academy is also available for special events such as birthday parties. |
