Food Bank For New York City is the City's major hunger-relief organization, working to end food poverty throughout the five boroughs. Food Bank For New York City warehouses and distributes free food for over 1.5 million New Yorkers each year.

Founded in 1984 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat for Humanity - New York City transforms lives and our city by building homes for families in need and by uniting all New Yorkers around the cause of affordable housing.

For more than 70 years, United Way of New York City has been working for low-income New Yorkers. We help ensure that short-term needs are being met while we simultaneously work on long-term solutions to problems.
